Our stunning clubs are situated along the beautiful coast line of the northern beaches and are available for the public to access. The clubs also offer memberships and social tennis events for their members to participate in.

Our association is extremely fortunate to have the expert skills of so many talented tennis professionals to passionately guide our locals and juniors towards their dreams and teach them skills they can use for a life time.

ABOUT US
Tennis Northern Beaches represents well over 15 member tennis clubs and tennis centres in the Manly, Pittwater and Warringah local government districts.
As the official voice of tennis for Sydney's Northern Beaches, our mission is to conduct successful inter-club and inter-district tennis competitions and tournaments for junior and adult players as well as promote increased participation in the sport of tennis as a healthy community recreational activity for youth and adults in the area. Committee meetings are held third Thursday of every month.

HISTORY
Manly-Warringah Tennis Association (MWTA), was formed in 1921 with the first president being Arthur Little (President 1921-1934). In 1992, when Pittwater Council was established as a separate local government area from Warringah, the name Tennis Northern Beaches was adopted as a trading name only. The area covered Manly, Warringah and Pittwater local government districts. The association’s boundaries stretched from Balgowlah Heights/ Clontarf to Palm Beach and to Terrey Hills and the Roseville Bridge at Killarney Heights. Since the 2000’s, the club activity shifted northward and no longer centred just around Manly. The largest club memberships were held by Bayview, Careel Bay and Forestville, now in 2022 we can add several other clubs to this list.
